Synopsis
Slowly, a woman fades away before the world. Around her, silences, absences, an almost unbearable clarity, the empty landscapes of northern Germany. She stretches out on a couch, in her living room. Only alcohol and pills still make her move. The doctor is blunt: death from cirrhosis of the liver is imminent. The Port of Hamburg, reflections, sounds which make music out of silence. Images of absence when life takes its leave, but when love is woven. The beauty of the world.
