Synopsis
At the Fleury-Mérogis Prison near Paris, some inmates choose to read and learn about literature and poetry. Moving between detention and reconstruction, this film offers a fresh perspective that allows us to see the men and women who live and are incarcerated there in a different light. It is also a point of departure for a broader reflection on the notion of detention and the balance between punishment and correction.
