Synopsis
Jeanne, a young penniless student, takes a job as a live-in housemaid for Chrystale de Mailleul, a neurotic and tyrannical bourgeois woman who is addicted to tea. She is soon relegated to the role of servant and tires of constantly indulging her employer's capricious whims. Her romance with Madam's son Jason doesn't help, either. But for Jeanne, the idea of "the maid having an affair with the mistress' son" is taking things too far, and the time has come for her to rebel. But is reality always what we imagine it to be?
