Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Nadia, a daughter of Jewish emigrants, is beaten up after a Communist Youth meeting. She is rescued by a press photographer. Unfortunately, he's an awful right-wing bourgeois, which is a shame, for he could have been more than a comrade for this kid in knee-high socks, who churns out slogans and who he invites, to change her perspective on things, to a jazz club. And there, love occurs and frees her, transforming her and revealing the woman inside her. They take off for the sea, on a honeymoon, to Cabourg, where they'll never leave each other. But life...
