Synopsis
J’ai pas changé de bord is a long-term project (2007-2012). From one presidential election to the next, Christian Blanchet, a man in his fifties, looks at Avranche, in Lower Normandy, the city that he left when he was 18 years old. He films official ceremonies, social movements, questions old friends, his brother and the workers in his firm, the town's UMP member of parliament, students, political and union activists... Do they still believe in politics - like he'd still like to believe in it?
