Synopsis
We’re in a bar in Santiago in Chili. Two old men drink and talk. It seems that one of them is writing a novel. It’s a strange conversation: they speak about themselves as if they’re already dead. The supposed novelist, Don Federico, gathers matchsticks in his wine glass. A strange atmosphere settles over them.
Just where are we exactly – in the realm of the dead? Not exactly. More like a past life, in the world of memories. For Don Federico begins to evoke his youth, when in lived in the country.
