Synopsis
At an indetermined time and place, a society under military occupation and deprived of freedom, fervently awaits deliverance. Myriam, still a virgin, and betrothed to her fiance Youssef, is actually pregnant and doesn't know how to tell him the incredible truth. In a society where adultery is punishable by death, she fears for her life. She takes refuge at her cousin's house. Elisabeth is older than Myrian and is also expecting a child.Youssef enters a period of waiting, questioning and having to cope with unbearable doubts.

Sixteen-year-old Diane exists exclusively through her mother's gaze. But this intensely close bond between Diane and her mother, Sophie, is becoming increasingly problematic for the teenager. At high school, she would like to be loved like she is at home and expresses it in an awkward way like when she exchanges a favor for a look, in the toilets.
