    Synopsis

    Once upon a time in China when the Emperors ruled the country. In a small southern village, the Xianheng inn is the place to go. Scholars and workers meet there, drinking their daily yellow wine. One of the patrons, Kong, a poor scholar, is the one to be laughed at. Time and seasons flow, and Kong's life is yet a mystery.
