Synopsis
Rita is in a fix: Aliocha, her fiancé can’t pay back his gambling debts, and now Rita has got some hired thugs on her tail.
In her flight, she encounters a young deaf woman, Laia, a cabaret performer, who reluctantly decides to take Rita under her wing.
Although Rita’s got one thing on her mind, namely, the boyfriend, Laia tries to entice her in to taking a trip into her imaginary world, “The Land of Silence.”
