Synopsis
Mr Clément is a secretive, unloved individual, an eccentric old grouch whose neighbours steer clear of him. So, he's made a world of his own, a world of euphoric music, of unsatisfied dreams, faked fantasies and memories. A trap-like world which soon ensnares Luc, the new neighbour across the hall. Their stand-off turns to a merciless duel.

About
"In the ''Barracuda'' screenplay, I felt there was a real tone, a real quality. It was a project apart, which speaks pretty violently and painfully of love and loneliness. It offered me a role, a universe, which I hadn't yet had the chance to ex-plore. I felt Philippe Haïm had talent, a real personality." (Jean Rochefort)
