Arlette
Synopsis
Arlette is a waitress in a transport café somewhere in the depths of France. Arlette has a normal, boring life and a lasting, but episodic relationship with Victor, a truckdriver. With her big mouth and sentimental heart, Arlette dreams of getting married but Victor won't hear of it since he is already "married to the road". Arlette has no idea that thousands of miles away, in Las Vegas, her destiny is in the balance around the death bed of an old man, Assler, boss of one of the city’s biggest casinos.
