About
"The successful thing I did was to play her. I didn't have to go to much trouble, she imposed herself naturally in her way of facing the world : her shoulders hunched, a face a little surly, a lanky, bewildered, incomplete beanstalk of a girl. The way Romaine always ends up in the soup makes me laugh. I've made fun of her and a little of myself too. She is hidden somewhere within me and simply demands to be let out from time to time. She's a funny girl and a girl who's funny. You could say she has one foot in tragedy and the other in burlesque comedy. I love her, I hate her but she has always moved me. We've come a long way together so obviously we've ended up getting along." (Agnès Obadia)
