Biography
Olivier Dulac has been Head of External Relations for the BNP Paribas Group since 2014.
After studying international law and political science and gaining experience in image publishing and advertising design (Flammarion 4, Acor SA, Image), then as a Parliamentary Attaché to the French Senate (1983-1987), he has been Head of Group Communications for Victoire, Paribas and BNP Paribas since 1987. At the same time, he chaired “L'Atelier BNP Paribas”, a technology monitoring and forecasting centre based in Paris, San Francisco and Shanghai (2003-2018).
He is treasurer of "Nouvelle Cour", an advertising agency promoting social inclusion in Seine-Saint-Denis, and an administrator of Acsel, the digital economy association, Yann Arthus-Bertrand's GoodPlanet Foundation, and the Forum d'Avignon.
Olivier Dulac has also managed partnerships for BNP Paribas for over fifteen years, for example with the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes, and co-created BNP Paribas Pictures and the "BNP Paribas New Talent Fund" to support first or second films.
He also directed the medium-length film L'Air dans la ville, which was an official selection at the Venice Festival of Young Cinema (1972), and was a member of the juries of the Philip Morris Foundation for Cinema and the Apple Foundation for the 7th Art (1980-1986), as well as a member of the organising committee of the Semaine des réalisateurs de télévision at the Centre Georges Pompidou (1982). He was also General Delegate of the Comité national des auditeurs et téléspectateurs de France of the Prime Minister's Information Service (1982-1983).
Olivier Dulac is an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters.
