Mare Nostrum Productions is a French production company dedicated to produce film projects for France, Europe and International audiences. Beyond this Mare Nostrum Productions engages in international co-productions, especially in European cinema.
The company has been created by Alexandra Lebret, who was and still is in the heart of the business running the European Producer Club since 2001. Thanks to this background Alexandra Lebret is deeply involved into the coproduction and financing of films.
The aim of the company is to produce films with an artistic point of view, anchored in European and local stories, and gathering talents across Europe around the same desire for creation.
Mare Nostrum counts Morena Films from Spain as one of its shareholders.
