DirectorActorsSynopsisAntoine Paruso, a.k.a “Toinou,” a generous and boastful man in his forties, André Lespinasse, a.k.a “Doctor” due to his dubious first-aid diploma, 35, and Brahim Ben Kader, 30, a.k.a “Bibi,” a welder, are well known in Martigues, the “Venice of Provence.” Formerly employed at the Plurimetal factory, they now run a thriving shellfish stall, Toinou & Co. Toinou had the bright idea of combining their redundancy payouts to set up the stall. But now that their social security payments have run out, and while they are trying to find work, they've been forced into the illegal lobster trade. Then, much to everyone's dismay, Toinou is involved in a stupid accident that the doctors say will leave him paralyzed. However, one bright morning, just after receiving a tidy sum from the insurance company, Toinou realizes that his legs are well and truly alive and kicking. His friends are overwhelmed with joy, but the big question is what they should do with the insurance money. The answer is quick in coming: "We'll keep the cash!" Toinou and his friends don't know that they've just got mixed up in a hellish situation... Production photos (4)
