This free, trilingual iPhone app devoted to French cinema is intended for a broad film-going public and for film industry professionals, in France and abroad.
On April 16, 2012, uniFrance Films launches its first free iPhone app totally dedicated to French cinema intended for both the mainstream film-going public and film industry professionals, in France and abroad.
In partnership with Le Film Français magazine, this trilingual app, available in French, English and Spanish, offers, in "push mode," all the latest news about French cinema in France and abroad: films shoots, releases, box office, awards, selections and delegations of the major film festivals and international markets (Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Locarno, Busan...).
This app, conceived as a reference tool for all research into “Le Cinéma français” (French cinema), will also allow the general public to access specific market studies and a complete database of films and artists of contemporary French cinema, accompanied by trailers and photo galleries (14,000 feature film sheets, 10,000 short film sheets, and 300 festival and event sheets). Lastly, the app allows users to access the international directory of film industry professionals (90,000 and 10,000 people and companies respectively).
In the first instance, the app, called “Le Cinéma français” (French cinema), has been developed for iPhone. An iPad version will be released during 2012.
