Since the Internet has become one of the most effective distribution channels, this first-time online festival will be hosted on the web in order to present a maximum number of French and Russian films to audiences.
Mixmoviefestival.com strives to give Internet users in France and Russia the chance to discover the cinematic history of the partner country. It offers free and pay-per-view access, with films presented in their original version with subtitles.
Works by great names of French cinema such as Truffaut, Blier, and Chabrol feature among the French films presented.
Spectators will have the opportunity to post their reviews online in real time, with the best submissions winning an iPad.
