This month, Unifrance participated at 4 feature film festivals: the Cannes International Film Festival, Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes International Critics’ Week, and the Seattle International Film Festival.

This month, Unifrance provided support to the presence of 2 French artists and 44 films at the following 8 short film festivals: the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Gyor Mediawave Festival, the Oberhausen International Film Festival, the AniFest International Festival of Animated Films in Trebon and Teplice, Trickfilm International Festival of Animated Films in Stuttgart, the Vienna Independent Short Film Festival, the Cittadella del Corto International Short Fiction Film Festival in Trevignano, and the Cracow International Short Film and Documentary Festival.
Funding support for commercial release
Unifrance supported the release of 2 films in international territories by covering travel expenses for 3 French artists: Sandrine Bonnaire for the release of L'empreinte de l'ange (Mark of an Angel) in the UK and Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne for the release of Le Silence de Lorna (Lorna’s Silence) in the USA.
