The festival jury honored Opium War by the Afghan director Siddiq Barmak with the award for Best Film.
Résolution 819, by Giacomo Battiato and starring Benoit Magimel, picked up the Audience Award.
François Dupeyron’s film Aide-toi, le ciel t’aidera (With a Little Help from Myself) also earned a Special Mention from the jury, and the director Philippe Muyl won the "Alice nella città” award given by a jury of eight- to twelve-year-olds for his film Magique!.
