“The Pianist” beats all the records for a French film in Japan!

With 10 Cesar Award nominations and 7 for the Academy Awards, the French production “The Pianist” by Roman Polanski has got off to a sensational start in Japan since Saturday February 8, where its distributor, Amuse Pictures, released 240 prints of the film.
In just two days, the film has attracted some 200,000 spectators.
