This year’s Bangkok International Film Festival will be held from February 17 through 27. Included in the 170 films selected at the event are some 20 French productions.
“The Ring Finger” by Diane Bertrand features in the International Competition, “A Common Thread” by Eléonore Faucher will be screened in the New Voices Section, and the ASEAN Competition includes “Les Artistes du théâtre brûlé” by Rithy Panh.
Catherine Deneuve will be presented with an award honoring her entire movie career. Radu Mihailenu, Diane Bertrand, Nadine Bonfils, Brigitte Rouan, Danis Tanovic, Steve Suissa, Hubert Niogret and Julie Delpy (jury member) will be present at the festival to present their films.
