As of June 19 this year, Euronews, Paris Première and Planète are now broadcast via the digital cable service in Quebec. These channels are accessible via Quebec's two largest cable distribution networks, Vidéotron and Cogeco. For a period of three months, Euronews, Paris Première, Planète, as well as Radio France International and RFI Musique are accessible free of charge to the two cable operators' 180,000 digital subscribers. The documentary channel Planète looks set to continue its worldwide conquest, since it is already available in Italy, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium and French-speaking Africa, with discussions in the pipeline with broadcasters in North America.
