Unifrance luncheon in Toronto

Diane Bertrand, Alain Tasma, Emmanuelle Bercot, Emmanuelle Seigner, Anne Fontaine, Isabelle Carré, Laurent Cantet, Charlotte Rampling, Louise Portal, Karen Young, Barlen Pyamootoo, Jean-Pierre Bekolo, Laïla Marrakchi, Morjana Alaoui, Rashid Masharawi, Khalil Joreige and Joana Hadjithomas.

All these industry personalities were out in force at the Unifrance luncheon – now an annual event at the Toronto Festival – held September 12 this year. Over two hours, guests met with around fifty journalists from the USA, Canada and other countries. France benefits from a particularly strong presence at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, with 25 films and 16 co-productions presented to Canadian audiences. And Canadian moviegoers maintain their reputation as loyal and loving supporters of French films, as testified by the extremely lively discussions held after each screening at the festival.
