The 26th Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Paris took place from January 16 through 23, 2024. A highly successful event this year that once again brought together a host of film and TV sector professionals from France and abroad, and a large number of artists and journalists.
Highlights
- The 4th Export Day, held at the CNC, featured around a dozen speakers and was attended by Jérémie Kessler, Director of European and International Affairs at the CNC, and Aurélien Lechevallier, Managing Director of Globalization, Culture, Education, and International Development at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
- The first international screening of Tableau volé, with many members of the film's creative and technical crew in attendance (Pascal Bonitzer, Léa Drucker, Saïd Ben Saïd, Nora Hamzawi, Louise Chevillotte, Laurence Côte, and Arcadi Radeff), along with foreign buyers accredited at the Rendez-Vous. The screening was followed by a cocktail reception.
- A French Cinema Award presented to Melvil Poupaud in honor of his exceptional contribution to making French cinema shine on the global stage, with the support of the Minister of Culture and in the presence of the international jury and the teams from MyFrenchFilmFestival, in addition to the majority of the French talents in the 10 to Watch 2024
- The unveiling of the 10 to Watch 2024
- The participation of international media representatives at the Lumières Awards ceremony, which was followed by a cocktail reception at the Paris City Hall. This event was attended by a large number of foreign journalists in Paris at the invitation of Unifrance and many of the winners of the 2024 Lumière Awards.
