Unifrance wishes to pay tribute to the late Jane Birkin by releasing Manuel Schapira's touch short film Bunker (2009) free of charge for six months.
Directed in 2009 by Manuel Schapira, who has made a dozen short films and the feature Tropic of Violence (2021), Bunkeris one of the very few short films in which Jane Birkin appeared, here alongside co-stars Jacky Ido, Arly Jover, and Candide Sanchez.
Bunker is a young man who has built a mental universe to withstand the pressures of life. But the world he lives in is falling apart.
The film is available free of charge on Unifrance's Youtube page, with English subtitles, for six months.
