The data provided by streaming platforms on the films they broadcast continues to fall short of the expectations of transparency voiced by industry professionals. However, this situation is slowly improving, and of the three key aspects of data analysis—the availability of content, the promotion of content, and the consumption of content—the first aspect is now accessible.
Thanks to our collaboration with Ampere Analysis, UniFrance can now access details on the French films available on 74 platforms across 41 countries, and can therefore track and evaluate the position of our films in the sector of digital distribution. This new service makes it possible to locate the latest French films released on these platforms.
This is the purpose of this new directory, which will provide UniFrance members at the end of each month with data from the previous month. This service adds to our package of information that is regularly sent out by our teams (such as the Weekly Top 10 Films in Theaters, Business Newsletters, and Market Reports).
