As part of an ongoing commitment to promoting French productions in the international arena, Unifrance and La Fête du Court Métrage have teamed up to create a new prize, the Short Film Distributor's Award, which will be presented during the Cannes Film Festival.
The first UniFrance-La Fête du Court Métrage Award will be presented on May 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the UniFrance Terrace as part of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of UniFrance, following the presentation of the 17th UniFrance Short Film Awards.
UniFrance will present the winner of this award with a €1,000 grant to assist the distributor in traveling to a foreign film festival or film market.
The Fête du Court Métrage event will highlight the work of the winning distributor in the program of its 2020 edition.
