For one week, UniFrance is offering viewers the chance to see free screenings of thirteen animated poems created as part of the collection of short films entitled "En sortant de l'école" to mark the 40th anniversary of the great Jacques Prévert.
A writer, poet, songwriter, screenwriter, and film dialogue writer, Jacques Prévert was an artist of unforgettable talent who left behind him a large legacy of works covering many media. In 2017, now forty years since Prévert's death, the time has come to celebrate his work around the world.
Credited with classic French films such as Les Enfants du Paradis by Marcel Carné and Le Roi et l'Oiseau by Paul Grimault, Jacques Prévert left an indelible mark on cinema history.
