Synopsis
Cinema has somewhat lost the memory of its origins. The glory of Mélies overshadow all that is owed to the Lumière Brothers. They not only invented a camera, they also created cinema itself. They succeeded in making a living documentary of an epoch, the first of its kind and from this embryonic technique they made a major art-form.
