A young film director tells her friend how she wants to make her film. It's a film where words are at the center of the narrative, one where characters speak to each other and listen to each other without any other means of communication except for the words that they say to each other, being as precise as possible about their subject. It is a film where each fragment of images interlocks like a puzzle. It is an open film, freed from all constraints! And while her friend tries to show her just how unrealistic this vision is, by contriving to destroy all her dreams one by one, the film is in the process of being made.
