About
"(...) In "L'Enfant des neiges", we could have shown the decline of the Indians and the road being built through the mountains that wrecks everything. However, extraordinary landscapes have more power and prove that enormous tracts of land are still preserved. (...) I've always respected the rhythm of the dogs or horses on my journeys. This time, it was a child's rhythm. Life isn't easy at minus 40° C but it's not tougher than in the polluted atmosphere of August in Paris. We weren't aiming (...) to accomplish a world first. On the contrary, it was more like a "last" since no one lives in the forest the way we did."
(Nicolas Vanier)
