Biography
Arthur Robert was born in 1990 in Paris, into a family originally from the Basque Country and the Landes region. Passionate about pop culture, he discovered fashion through denim and Americana, influenced by the work of Gus Van Sant and Bruce Weber. He studied at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris and soon after joined AMI as a designer, where he remained for nearly nine years before going on to work as a consultant for various Parisian fashion houses.
In 2022, he founded OUEST Paris, a designer label offering a sexy twist on the masculine tropes of denim and workwear, inspired by Paris and a California fever dream. From its very first season, OUEST Paris was selected by retailers such as Printemps and The Webster (USA). The brand was a finalist for the ANDAM Pierre Bergé Prize in 2023 and subsequently joined the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.
