As you would no doubt have noticed, our site is at times very slow. This is partly due to server overload, but also to the fact that after 6 years of good and loyal service and various modifications to meet the near-fever-pitch demand from users (there were 100,000 of you visiting our site in February 2006, thank you!), unifrance.org now needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
This major revision of all aspects of our information system (our 4 websites, our database, tools, and extranet access) will keep us busy right through 2006.
In 2007, we will be able to welcome a brand-new unifrance.org!
Unifrance.org (a website in French, English, Spanish, and Japanese) brings together a large and loyal professional user base, with 100,000 single visits per month (for 900,000 pages viewed). Our gigantic multilingual database, which serves as an information hub and economic information platform for the monitoring of French films in international markets, is today one of the world's largest cinematic resources, as well as a strategic promotional tool for French films on the Internet.
The new unifrance.org will be clearer, more readable, better organized, and will ensure faster access. It will enable you to:
- Set up a personal space giving you access to specific data and information (such as the careers of your films at 205 international film festivals and markets; monitoring of theatrical releases and TV broadcasts of your films via an individualized economic management chart covering 55 territories; and access to the complete Unifrance professional directory).
- Fully update all data relating to your companies and activities, such as contact information, staff, advertorials, detailed filmographies, line-ups, and so on).
- Benefit from email and newsletter notifications: all listed members can receive personalized email alerts informing them directly of the results of their films abroad. Members can also subscribe to Newsletters by personalizing the content to be received.
- Utilize a wide range of multimedia tools: downloadable mailing lists, catalogues of film festivals and markets, catalogues of industry professionals, line-ups, BA, HD photos, and press files.
