DirectorsSynopsisCondé-sur-Ginette, on the outskirts of a large city, a thousand miles from the hot sand, palm trees and blue ocean of the Caribbean. It's summer. The sun glints off motorbikes' chrome, heats the tower block asphalt, suffocates the building hallways, and bakes idle minds. Here, everyone dreams of the beaches of Santo Rico. Some more than others. For Tony Merguez and José Frelate, the neighborhoods' two MCs, departure is imminent. But the travel agent who organized their tickets botched the destination. It's straight back to Ginette! In order to resurface, Tony transforms into Montana, genre Scarface, and tries to onsell some fresh grass "kindly" lent by Zoran, a heavy-set brute whose feet aren't exactly made of clay. Meanwhile, José plays at Don Juan in a large villa occupied by Momo, truly embedded, and beautiful... Clémence. It all could have been smooth as silk, if an enraged mistress, rather amateur film directors, a Norwegian sauna, angry cops, and a hard-headed judge hadn't decided otherwise. Production photos (8)
