Synopsis
The rapid brushing of a spider's legs over naked skin... Inexplicable noises that we hear at night, when we're children, alone in a room... A large, empty house in which we sense something lurking... A syringe needle that moves inexorably closer... A dead thing imprisoned in a jar of formaldehyde... The fixed gaze of a snarling dog baring its fangs... So many scares that we've experienced, one time or another, like the authors of this journey that, in a stroke, leads us to the land of anxiety. Six major authors of graphic novels and creators of animation have animated their nightmares, scratching on paper with their pencils sharpened like scalpels, erasing all colors so as to only retain the harshness of light and the black ink of shadow. Their interweaving stories compose a unique fresco where phobias, repulsions, and dreams spring to life, showing fear in its blackest light... Blind fears and black humor light up the screen.
