Company presentation

Growing up in over 15 countries between them, FilmDoo co-founders Weerada Sucharitkul and William Page have always had a taste for international cinema. They met in London, where they discussed their love of films, but also why so many of them were unavailable in the UK. So they started FilmDoo in the summer of 2014, with the aim of bringing films from around the world to an international audience.

So many extraordinary films get made, only to rarely get seen. Let's create a home for these films.
Only together can we Doo it.

Be Part of the Filmmaker Revolution

Thousands of great films are made around the world every year - yet few of these ever get seen or heard of. This is due to a traditional film distribution system that pre-dates the Internet. Despite the filmmaker pouring their hearts, soul and for many, their life savings, into the film, it never gets distributed. At FilmDoo, we want to change this.

We have launched our feature length platform, but there are just as many brilliant short films which are waiting to be discovered. Today's short filmmakers are tomorrow's amazing feature film directors. Our online platform enables filmmakers to show, curate, promote and share their films to a truly global audience base.

We are looking for filmmakers with a story to tell paired with great production values. That includes documentaries, fiction, animation... So how does it work?

FilmDoo programs the short films for a global online audience, by theme, genre and country of origin. We also help to promote these films through our editorial reviews, interviews and featured articles, all of which are distributed across our social media channels.

We're exploring new ways to help you monetise your shorts, with a high percentage of revenue going to the filmmaker. We're also developing major partnerships with third party services to continually raise the profile of our filmmakers and their films internationally.
