UniFrance to launch the International French Cinema Fest on July 14
On July 14, France’s national Bastille Day holiday, and as the Cannes Film Festival is in full swing, UniFrance will launch its International French Cinema Fest, an event spread over 24 hours aimed at celebrating French cinema in all its forms and shining a light on the latest productions, whose release dates have been disrupted by the pandemic.
The International French Cinema Fest will be held in over thirty countries in partnership with distributors and exhibitors around the world who responded to UniFrance's proposal to present a special-event premiere screening of a film that is scheduled for upcoming release in their countries. These screenings will take place in the following countries (among others): Argentina, the Baltic States, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, and the USA. Foreign moviegoers are invited to join us on this symbolic date for France and take advantage of the chance to see around fifty premiere screenings held worldwide. This is a unique occasion to (re)invigorate the collective experience of watching movies, on a global scale!
