Today's review
France, 2014
Directed by Clément Tréhin-Lalanne.
Color, 8’15”
Rating: 4/5
Aïssa, another clever, interesting and moving short film in the selection of this MyFrenchFilmFestival - 2015 edition, “Aïssa” deserves to be watched more than once and its main asset is creating empathy among the audience, because its theme is universal and those are the best ones to be shown, because everybody will be affected by them.
A mute, fearful, powerless, and minimal woman is the main subject of the picture and everyone can feel her suffering and loneliness. An excellent team work by the director, the actors and the technical supports has created another gem that YOU SHOULD NOT MISS.
