Synopsis
“Do You Love Me” intertwines the past and the present in a quest that spans 70 years of Lebanon's audiovisual history, to better understand its current situation. Focusing on the use of archives, the film is a subjective odyssey through the images and representations that have accumulated over the years to constitute the memory of Beirut, a fragmented memory that is at once historical, social, cultural, and political.
