The Bears' Famous Invasion of Sicily

A Feature film by Lorenzo Mattotti

Produced by Prima Linea Productions

Production year : 2016

A wandering storyteller and a little girl seek refuge in the lair of an old bear. To appease the savage beast, the storyteller recounts an extraordinary tale... Once upon a time, a clan of bears lived high in the mountains. During one terrible winter, driven by the desire to find his lost son, their king led his clan down into the land of men. The Grand Duke of Sicily waged a fierce military campaign against the invading creatures, but their boundless ingenuity and the great valor of their king finally prevailed against human weaponry. For a time, King Leander ruled over a peaceful land where bears and humans coexisted in harmony. All was well until the bears began to lose their innocence and to adopt human weaknesses.
