As soon as I read the script of "The Revengers's comedies", I feel in love with it. The script had everything you dream of: a burlesque tale, sophistication, and intelligence. So I didn't hesitate to come aboard. The casting was very difficult, because the actors we wanted weren't free at the same time, and we couldn't manage to get them together. So when Sam Neill, Helena Bonham Carter and Kristen Scott Thomas finally agreed, we were truly proud of having such great actors not only for the leads but for the smaller part as weell. Even today, I still have wonderful memories of the film.
