Strong French presence at Toronto

On September 12, Santiago Amigorena, Emmanuelle Béart, Juliette Binoche, Dany Boon, Costa Gavras, Robert Guédiguian, Camila Guzmán Urzúa, Nader Takmil Homayoun, Zeka Laplaine, Laurent Herbiet, Patrice Leconte, Manuel Pradal, Nicolas Rey, Abderrahmane Sissako, Grégoire Solotareff, and Christian Volckman were invited by Unifrance to attend a luncheon organized together with American industry professionals, French media representatives, producers, exporters.

This year, the Toronto International Film Festival presented 32 French films and 12 minority-French co-productions:
