The 2005 VCU French Film Festival will be held in Richmond, Virginia, from April1st through 3rd.

As is the case each year, the festival will be held at the Virginia Commonwealth University, with the following French guests welcomed this year: Philippe Torreton for "L'Equipier" ("The Light"), Gilles Legrand and Jules Sitruk for "Malabar Princess," Abdelkrim Bahloul for "Le Soleil assassiné" ("The Assassinated Sun" aka "The Sun Assassinated"), Nicolas Boukhrief for "Le Convoyeur" ("Cash Truck"), Thierry Lhermitte for "Qui perd gagne!" ("Loser takes All!") and Serge Renko for "Triple Agent."

This year, the festival's Honorary President, Claude Miller, will be present at the event to lead a masterclass.
