Synopsis

A lack of cash and boredom drive three young men and lifelong friends to steal the remains of Bernadette Soubirou from a chapel in Nevers where they are display. The theft accomplished and the saint well camouflaged, they wait for a response to their ransom demands sent to the bishop, who, for some strange reason, keeps the robbery a secret.
