Synopsis
Through a selection of excerpts from music, film, and literature, Beyond the One opens up a conversation that traverses the labyrinth of domestic violence and the pain caused by ideals and social circumstances. It is not a film about family, couples, community, or polyamorous relationships. Rather, it evokes traces of the act of existing, with celluloid becoming like fragments of fossils, and sounds suggesting encounters, and moments.
