Synopsis
For twenty years, Madina Aidahis and Halima Issé have been fighting persistently to end the practice of excision and the infibulation in the Ethiopian Afar country. Every day, they cross the villages of the region of Gawani to bring awarness to the inhabitants of the fatal effects caused by these feminine genital mutilations. Since 2005, their fight has taken an international dimension. Supported by the French feminist's movement Femmes Solidaires, Madina and Halima have managed to save more than eight hundred and fifty girls.
