Hashima My Love

A Short film by Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux

Produced by Les Films de L'Air

Production year : 2014

Synopsis

Off Nagasaki, I accost the banks of Hashima, a disused island which was an important mining area until the day when, in 1974, it's population was brutally expelled from it. I collect archives on this past life, I pace across these ruins as I pace through my memory, in search of a missing image.
