Part du feu

Part du feu

A Feature film by Emmanuel Roy

Produced by Atopic, Ad Libitum

Release in France : 13/11/2013

    Synopsis

"The part of fire is what we sacrifice in order to save an essential element. Asbestos protected almost everything, for less cost and maximum profit. It was essential.
The part of fire is the echo of my father's words, those of a teacher whose death was caused by a mesothelioma, asbestos-related cancer, workers' cancer. The part of fire is the worry that accompanies me since his death, which I've decided to confront today in contaminated landscapes, alongside those who share the same feelings, so that together we may change our fear into action."
