For his 39th film, Frederick Wiseman lifts the curtain of a third French institution, after the Comédie Française and the Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris.
In the heart of the famous Parisian cabaret, the camera of the American documentary filmmaker follows the choreographer Philippe Decouflé, along with Ali Mahdavi, who reinvent the numbers of the revue of nude dancers.
