Synopsis

Between the months of February and July, 1858, in the Grotto of Massabielle, the Virgin Mary appeared eighteen times before Bernadette Soubirous, a poor child from Lourdes. This created a true revolution in Mariology, in the middle of the Second Empire, which would unsettle the established order by its message of universal love and prayer.
